Helping Children with Emergency Fund

 

ZAPORUKA provides individual assistance to orphans affected by cancer and low income families whose children are ill with cancer.

All the money received from private donors we use to help families who are in need for this or that reason. Mainly, it concerns one-parent or large families and families in which one of the parents or both are disabled.

This family came to us from the warm and sunny Crimea where we together with our family usually go to regain health and positive or just to have a rest. Unfortunately, they came to the capital not on excursion, they came because their daughter was diagnosed with CANCER and they came to the Institute of Cancer for additional examinations.   This little girl with an unusual name Kholide and her parents became the first family who lived at the CENTER for children affected by cancer opened by Zaporuka.  The examinations and the diagnosis confirmation lasted for more than a month, afterwards they went to Simferopol for treatment.
